Normal Hours of Work

: 9am to 6pm Monday - Friday (no Saturdays). It may be possible to arrange some flexibility within these working hours.

About Dunluce Pharmacy Ltd

Dunluce Pharmacy is a Community Pharmacy based in a primary care Health Centre environment. You will engage on a daily basis with a wide client base and your focus will be to assist in the delivery of a safe, efficient and high quality pharmaceutical service to the patients and public attending the pharmacy.

Primary Purpose

To ensure the safe and efficient operation of Dunluce Pharmacy To maximise NHS dispensing and the provision of professional services To maximise OTC sales and profitability of the pharmacy business

Role

You will assist the pharmacist in delivering a comprehensive dispensing service to our patients, meeting their individual needs. You will be a key member in our pharmacy team which provides a friendly, caring and professional service.

Responsibilities and Duties

Labelling and dispensing prescriptions ready for a final accuracy check Maintaining accurate patient records. Provide support to facilitate the smooth operation of the dispensary including prescription coding and preparation of prescriptions for submission to the BSO. Stock control including the ordering and purchasing of medications for the pharmacy. Maximise OTC sales and profitability of the pharmacy business

Qualifications and Skills

Essential

Have previous dispensary experience and hold, or be prepared to work towards, an NVQ level 2 in "Pharmacy Service Skills" or an equivalent qualification Be hard working and enthusiastic Demonstrate good communication skills have the ability to work as part of a healthcare team Demonstrate a flexible approach to work and be prepared to take on other roles as required and to work additional hours if needed to meet service requirements which may be of an urgent medical nature Eligible to work in the UK.
