Qualified Dispenser (NVQ Level 2) and / or Accuracy Checking Dispenser

We have multiple vacancies available for experienced dispensers or accutacy checking dispenser to join our large and experienced support team at Scotts Chemist in Redcar. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person who wants to contribute to a hugely successful, fast paced pharmacy.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services, with at least 1 year experience working in a dispensary setting. This is a full time role with a requirement to support Saturday cover as part of a rota.

We will also consider if you are training to be a dispenser.

Your main duties will include:

Maintaining an accurate, efficient and professional dispensing experience for all of our customers.

Support the pharmacist manager in achieving excellence in our customer experience, contributing to improving patient safety and helping to build on our already hugely successful business.

Essential skills and requirements

Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services.

An excellent understanding of providing an enhanced customer experience.

Great communication skills.

Able to comply fully and understand the importance of customer confidentiality.

Good organisational skills, excellent time management skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines.

Able to build great relationships with key stakeholders (GP surgeries, care/nursing homes etc.)

A willingness to learn and apply new skills.
