We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support medication administration and enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of medication, including counting, measuring, and mixing as necessary. Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage instructions. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed and manage inventory levels effectively. Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure optimal patient care and address any medication-related queries. Uphold hygiene standards and maintain a clean working environment within the pharmacy. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge of pharmaceutical practices.

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser is highly desirable. Familiarity with medication administration processes and patient care practices is essential. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
