Alloway Pharmacy is an award winning, patient-focused
family-owned independent pharmacy
in Alloway village, Ayr.We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic pharmacy dispenser to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with patients and other healthcare professionals. Candidates must have the ability to work within a close team as well as using their initiative individually.
The role will be predominantly dispensary based. Duties will include accurately dispensing prescriptions, preparation of blister packs, assisting patients on the phone or in person and providing pharmacy services to our patients. The pharmacy has excellent support staff and there is potential for further professional development.
This is a full-time hours position (37.5 hours), which can be made up of one FT or two PT and as such flexible hours will be considered. Hours would be Monday-Friday 9-5.30pm (closed 1-2pm) and very occasional Saturday cover when required (9-1pm).
NVQ level 2 dispensing qualification (or equivalent) is preferable and previous pharmacy experience is essential for this position.
Hourly rate can be discussed at interview based on qualification and experience
