Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labelling, and packaging Provide guidance to patients on medication usage, storage, and potential side effects Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions Support inventory management by checking stock levels and reordering supplies as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of medicines Uphold confidentiality of patient information at all times Contribute to a welcoming environment by delivering compassionate patient care and answering queries professionally Use of our dispensing robot and blisterpack robot Running of low stock reports to keep dispensing robot well stocked

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is highly desirable but this will not exclude you from consideration Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems Experience in patient care, including providing clear instructions on medication use Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing processes Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality

Pay: 10.00-12.71 per hour
