Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient information Provide guidance and support to patients regarding medication usage and safety Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety standards Support inventory management, including stock checks and ordering supplies as needed Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in all patient interactions and documentation

Experience

Previous pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols Experience in patient care, including providing clear instructions on medication use Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in patient interactions Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
