About the role

An exciting position has become available for a Pharmacy Dispenser at HR Healthcare, our dispensing hub, servicing our Treated and Focused brand.

It's a full-time role, working 35 hours a week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Based in Bolton, you'll be working at our purpose-built, dispensing hub. As we're a distance-selling pharmacy that operates solely online, it's a more unique environment than you might be used to. There are no face-to-face interactions with customers like conventional pharmacies - instead you'll be surrounded by modern facilities and modern attitudes. There'll be regular lunches and social events with the team. We've even got a games room with a pool table.

Being part of our dispensing team, you'll be responsible for picking, labelling and dispensing prescriptions to patients. It involves communicating with colleagues and learning innovative dispensary systems to deliver a high level of customer service.

Working on both our NHS and Private prescription dispensing team, you'll be assembling prescription items that have been clinically screened by the Pharmacist. You'll support the Pharmacy Manager in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary delivers a high level of customer service and operates effectively with regard to company policies and procedures. If we have any patient complaints or dispensing errors, you'll be dealing with them promptly and efficiently in accordance with company policy.

Your role will also involve stock management, ensuring continuity of supply for patients and minimising wastage by checking pharmaceutical inventory levels. We'll need you to anticipate our required medications and supplies, place and expedite orders, and check-off deliveries accurately.

We value our high level of professionalism when it comes to delivering to our patients, so you'll be performing product updates at regular intervals, following our company SOPs and always informing the relevant department with the appropriate updates.

You'll maintain and update client systems, and undertake administrative tasks when required. You'll also complete audits, ensure the date-checking matrix is maintained, and be responsible for all equipment in the pharmacy being kept clean and ready to use, ensuring our quality standards are kept to the highest level.

About you

For this role, we're looking for someone who is both accurate and methodical when it comes to dispensing medication. You'll need to have great attention to detail, along with a 'can do' attitude towards the job.

We want you to deliver efficient dispensary operations, working as part of our Pharmacy team but also using your own initiative when required.
