About the role:




Working as a Pharmacy dispenser supporting the supply of CMBP in a specialist Private pharmacy. This is a niche role in a growing area. You would be working alongside specialist Clinical Pharmacists to make CMBP more accessible for all patients.

Key responsibilities:



Receiving and validating prescriptions ready for a clinical check Processing patient information appropriately Supporting the Responsible Pharmacist & Technicians in the daily operations of the Pharmacist Being the first point of contact for any queries to the Pharmacy Maintaining relevant records for the supply of CMBP Maintaining stock and security of any CMBP on site Maintaining communication of prescription to the Department of Health to meet Regulatory Requirements Supporting governance in the Pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy is operating as safely as possible

Qualifications, skills and experience:



A UK qualified Pharmacy dispenser Ideally Undertaken CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational programme - this can be provided Self-motivated individual with high levels of attention to detail, able to work accurately, identifying errors quickly and easily Experience in working in the pharmacy dispensary either primary and/or secondary environment Has attention to detail, patience and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations Excellence in communication skills with staff, patients and other healthcare professionals. Professional, ethical and committed to providing excellent customer care Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
