Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Dispenser or assistant to join our team. Cairns is a busy, fast paced pharmacy basing in Carluke.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional environment committed to patient safety and wellbeing. Prior pharmacy experience and knowledge of Proscript system are highly desirable.

Duties

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and packaging Provide guidance and information to patients on their medication/well-being Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and pharmacy standards Assist in stock management, including ordering, receiving, and organising pharmaceutical supplies Uphold confidentiality and data protection policies at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in a pharmacy or in a similar role is preferred Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Patience and compassion for others Ability to work effectively within a team environment Commitment to patient care and safety standards Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
