Job Description

`We are looking for an experienced dispenser to work in a busy health centre pharmacy

duties include -
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions
- Review prescription orders for completeness and accuracy
- Prepare and label medications for patients
- Maintain proper inventory of medications and supplies
- Provide information and advice to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to medication dispensing

Experience:
- Minimum NVQlevel 2 in Dispensing or equivalent required
- Certification as a pharmacy technician preferred
- Previous experience in a pharmacy is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations
