Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, assisting with medication administration, and providing excellent patient care. Duties

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution Support medication administration processes, ensuring correct dosage and patient identification Provide compassionate patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication use Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications and patient interactions Ensure the pharmacy area remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards Assist in stock management, including inventory checks and placing orders for supplies as needed Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating patient records

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is preferred Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems is advantageous Experience in patient care environments, demonstrating strong communication skills and empathy Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements is desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
