We continue to strive to work closely with healthcare professionals, patients and their carers to achieve outstanding healthcare and general well-being.We are delighted to announce that we have a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Piddlehinton, Dorchester.Duties/Responsibilities- Usual responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;? Labelling and dispensing prescriptions (Under supervision where applicable) using dispensary computer system and in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate manner.? Dispensing (Under supervision where applicable) controlled drugs and make necessary entries in the CD register in accordance with standard operating procedures and complying with relevant legal controls.? Efficiently organising workload to ensure effective dispensary operations and minimising dispensary losses.? Providing assistance in completion and organisation of pharmacy paperwork.? Dealing with Medical Professionals, Doctors Surgery, Carers, Care Home Staff, Patient Guardians via telephone or email.? Providing assistance in completion and organisation of pharmacy paperwork.? Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice.Required skills: Candidate must have strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills, must be able to work under pressure, be keen towards self-development and must be able to pass Disclosure & Barring Service check when requiredQualification/Certification required: An ideal candidate will hold a NVQ level 2 in the Pharmacy services or equivalent. However (Should it be required) company will register the candidate on an appropriate NVQ courseRequired experience: An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a fast paced Pharmacy. However highly motivated individuals who do not have prior Pharmacy experience will also be considered.What you can expect from us
