Pharmacy Dispenser
Job Description
We are looking for a Dispensing Assistant to work in a medium sized independent pharmacy just outside Durham.
Your responsibilities would include dispensing prescriptions and dosette trays, stock management, counselling patients on health issues and helping on the shop floor as needed. You will also assist the Pharmacist in delivering advanced pharmacy services such as blood pressure checks or immunisations.
Working hours would be 32 hours a week on fixed days and every other Saturday morning for 2.5 hours, giving a weekly average of 33.25 hours. Saturday availability is essential. Some overtime may be available throughout the year and commission may be available for providing some services.
