We are looking for a friendly and reliable Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at our lovely independent pharmacy in East Boldon in South Tyneside. We are a small family run pharmacy with a great team who cares about our patients and provides quality healthcare to our community. Staff receive a yearly bonus and training opportunities are encouraged. We have an excellent reputation amoung surgeries and patients alike and unlike the multiples do not have the pressure of head office targets but are a hardworking team who work well by pulling together.

Your main responsibilities will be to support the front counter and assist with the efficient running of the dispensary when necessary. Pharmacy experience is essential and applicants would ideally have completed an accredited NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) Dispensing Assistant training qualification or be currently working towards this. Evidence of this will need to be supplied at the interview. Competent with Analyst PMR system would be ideal but not necessary.

The right candidate will be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organised and passionate about helping people.

Ideally we would like someone part time for 16 hours covering afternoons Tuesday to Friday's 1.30pm-5.30pm. On occasion one in four Saturday mornings working 9am-12.30pm may be required. Please get in touch with your available hours if unable to meet these hours specifically. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.
