Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Elloughton Pharmacy HU15 1HU. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, adherence to pharmacy regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications and ensure proper labelling in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications, usage, and potential side effects. Assist in the preparation of medication orders, including compounding and reconstituting medications as necessary. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy environment. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with pharmacy practices.

Skills

Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills. Proficiency in medication administration, with an understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and practices. Previous experience in Pharmacy is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement within the pharmacy sector.
