Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications, dosages, and potential side effects. Assist in the preparation and administration of medications under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes through effective medication management. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy workspace to promote a safe environment for staff and patients.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of medication administration and patient care practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and healthcare team members.
