We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of medication orders and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of essential drugs. Provide patient care by answering queries regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage requirements. Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management. Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and assist in the management of prescription documentation. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and pharmaceutical terminology. Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and effective communication with patients. Attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy pharmacy setting.
