Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, assisting with medication administration, and providing excellent patient care. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive environment where attention to detail and patient safety are paramount. Prior pharmacy dispensing experience is preferred but not essential, along with a strong commitment to patient well-being and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring correct dosages and patient instructions Provide compassionate patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications and patient interactions Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety regulations Manage stock levels, including ordering and storage of pharmaceuticals Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards at all times

Qualifications

Previous pharmacy experience is highly desirable Strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills, able to explain medication instructions clearly to patients Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
