Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and providing excellent patient care. We deal with a variety of patients who require varied services. Our main duty we carry out is the Multi-compartment boxes for patients, so someone with previous experience would be desirable.

Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient information Provide guidance and support to patients regarding medication usage and storage Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards Support medication administration processes where applicable, under supervision Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication management

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy regulations Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork Ability to work accurately under pressure within a fast-paced environment A recognised qualification in pharmacy assistance or technician training is preferred but not essential Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to professional standards

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 37.5 per week
