Job Summary

We are a local family business seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly team at our brand new Pharmacy in Harrogate. In this full time or part time role you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring patient safety and adherence to pharmacy regulations. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support within our pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the dispensing of medication Provide information to patients regarding their medications, Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and ensure proper labelling of all pharmaceutical products. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to optimise patient care and pharmacy services Conduct regular inventory checks to manage stock levels effectively and assist in ordering supplies when necessary. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy workspace to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patients.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser is required Strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration processes. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks performed. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and healthcare professionals alike. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
