Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess knowledge of pharmacy technician duties and medication administration.

Duties:

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their inquiries and concerns
- Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies - ordering and putting stock carefully away.
- Order medication from local surgeries
- Order and prepare dossette/MDS boxes for elderly and vulnerable patients
- Claiming for prescription medication, occasional involvement in cleaning the dispensary.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure proper medication dispensing
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines
- May also be involved in delivery of medication to nearby patients if required.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is required, previous undertaking of pharmacy/technician dispensing courses is preferable.
- English residency - stable visa
- Strong understanding of medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst prioritizing patient safety

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
