Duties

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders for patients Provide guidance and information to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety standards Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management

Requirements

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to legal regulations Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous but not mandatory
