We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team in providing essential healthcare services. The role involves assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and ensuring the accurate and timely provision of prescriptions to patients.
Around 40 hours a week
Monday - Friday 09:00 - 18:00 ( 1 hour lunch break) 8 hrs per day
- Dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Labelling and packaging prescriptions accurately
- Providing advice on over-the-counter medications
- Maintaining inventory levels and ordering stock
- Assisting with administrative tasks in the pharmacy
- Assisting with pharmacy services where qualified.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in medication administration or as a pharmacy technician is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Excellent communication skills for patient care interactions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
