Overview

The Pharmacy Dispenser plays a crucial role in the healthcare system, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position involves working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support medication administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy practices and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed Working in a digital pharmacy / warehouse environment Prepare and label medications, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations. Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage. Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication dispensing. Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure optimal patient care and address any medication-related queries. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment. Assist our in-house pharmacy team in handling deliveries of bulk stock, ensuring all stock and sundries are brought into the office and organised.

Skills

NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Prior Pharmacy Dispensing experience A good understanding of UK pharmacy requirements and regulations. High level of attention to detail, and accuracy with ability to quickly identify errors. Excellence in communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work accurately and efficiently as part of an onsite team. Proficient IT skills. Believe in our mission to create radically better healthcare using technology Good standard of spoken and written English. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for record keeping and inventory management. Flexible to be based daily from our site in Islington, London
