About us

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential in ensuring accurate medication administration and exceptional patient service.

Duties:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients

- Prepare and label prescription medications accurately

- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies

- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration

- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician to NVQ level 2 or above is essential

- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical terminology

- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management

- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

We are a fast growing Pharmacy with a small, dedicated team. We're looking for the right person to join us and help us grow.

We are a distance selling pharmacy so there is no patient facing interaction on site. Plenty of phone calls to answer though!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour
