We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that all medication administration is conducted accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and their usage. Assist in the preparation of medication orders, including the counting, measuring, and mixing of pharmaceuticals as needed. Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed and ensure proper storage conditions are met. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare staff to ensure a smooth workflow within the pharmacy. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when necessary. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is highly desirable, particularly in roles involving patient care or medication administration. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals alike.
