Job Summary
Role
You will assist the pharmacist in delivering a comprehensive dispensing service to our patients, meeting their individual needs. This is often a fast paced environment and you will be a key member in our pharmacy team.
Responsibilities and Duties
You will be labeling and dispensing prescriptions ready for a final accuracy check, maintaining accurate patient records and providing support to facilitate the smooth operation of the dispensary. Provide advice on non prescription medicines and products and advise customers on how best to use their medicines effectively. Involved in the management of pharmacy stock Including ordering and date checking.
Qualifications and Skills
You must:
be hard working, focused and a problem solver. demonstrate good communication skills have the ability to work as part of a healthcare team be flexible and prepared to work additional hours if needed to meet service requirements which may be of an urgent medical nature have previous dispensary experience and hold, or be prepared to work towards, an 'Accredited Pharmacy Assistant Course' or higher. Uphold patient confidentiality requirements at all times. Be flexible and adaptable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 10.00-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
