Job Description
As a
Pharmacy Dispenser
you will work in a well-equipped independent community pharmacy with an experienced manager and dispensary team that delivers a wide range of pharmacy services to the local community.Responsibilities & Duties
Your main responsibilities will be:-
To dispense items under the supervision of the Pharmacist
To receive and check prescriptions
To give advice on "P" and "OTC" medicines and prescriptions to customers as appropriate
To order stock and take responsibility for stock control
To receive, unpack and check deliveries from suppliers
To ensure stock rotation and carry out date checks
To dispense medication into monitored dosage systems
To utilize the electronic prescription service
Qualifications and Skills
Essential skills:-
Dispensary Assistant NVQ2, MCA qualification or equivalent.
You must have this qualification to apply.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work well within a team and autonomously
