Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. They will support the pharmacy team in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. This role involves managing inventory, assisting with prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties

- Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service to patients
- Assisting pharmacists with medication preparation and labelling
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory and stock levels
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver quality care

- Provide advice on over-the-counter medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser in the UK is ESSENTIAL
- Strong patient care skills
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications

- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this qualification

- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic prescriptions and inventory systems.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
