Job Overview

We are an online pharmacy with our distribution centre based in Harrow, London. We are seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser on a Part-Time basis. There will be an opportunity in the near future to change this to a Full-Time position or to remain as P/T.

Location

: Harrow, London HA1 2SP

Mon-Thurs

: 3 -4 Hrs per Day (increasing over the next 3 months - optional)

Self-Employed basis.

Pay

: 12.21 per hour

You will be a highly detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications and requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions. Assist in the preparation and packaging of medication for patients. Provide information and advice to patients directly (via email / phone) and to our customer service team to deal with queries regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and manage inventory levels effectively. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

NVQ level 2 in dispensing. Experience in pharmacy is essential. Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for record keeping and dispensing processes.
