Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements Prepare and label medication containers with precision, ensuring correct dosages and instructions Assist pharmacists with inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment of supplies Provide information to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications and patient interactions in compliance with data protection regulations Support patient care activities by answering queries and offering guidance under supervision Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to prevent dispensing errors Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and providing compassionate care Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
