Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser Manager to join our team. This is a permanent role working 5 days a week. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, adherence to pharmacy regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment. Excellent communication skills. Strong leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Responsible for Stock Control: manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, including dosage information and patient details. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace, adhering to health and safety standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with pharmacy practices.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser is Essential. Excellent communication abilities. Strong Leadership skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are crucial for success in this position. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
