Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. A Titan PMR trained dispenser will be hog desirable. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation and administration of medication, providing guidance on proper usage to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to optimise patient care and medication management. Conduct regular inventory checks, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that medications are stored correctly. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns from patients regarding their medications. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with pharmacy practices and regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser especially with TITAN PMR is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of medication dispensing processes. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices is essential. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety within the pharmacy environment. Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks.
