to join our team at Riverside Care Pharmacy. You will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and supplying prescription and over-the-counter medicines under the supervision of the pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medicines accurately in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Provide information and advice to patients on the use of medications.
Maintain accurate records and ensure prescriptions are legally and clinically appropriate.
Assist the pharmacist in managing inventory, stock control, and ordering.
Comply with all NHS, legal, and company policies and procedures.
Handle customer queries professionally and maintain confidentiality.
Operate pharmacy computer systems and maintain patient records.
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment (community or hospital setting).
Good knowledge of pharmacy laws and best practices.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Basic IT and administrative skills.
Desirable
NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or working towards it.
Experience with TITAN PMR
Knowledge of NHS and private prescription processes.
