You will join our digital pharmacy site in Wolverton, Milton Keynes, where we process and dispatch medications and test kits directly to patients' homes (non-patient-facing).

Our Pharmacy Dispensers play a crucial role in the healthcare system, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position involves working closely with onsite pharmacists, warehouse team members, and at times, liaising with our clinical and patient support teams.

The ideal candidate will be flexible to be based at our warehouse in Wolverton, Milton Keynes MK12, hold an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Dispensing or similar, and understanding of pharmacy practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed Working in a non-patient-facing warehouse (digital pharmacy) Prepare and label medications, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations. Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage. Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication dispensing. Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure optimal patient care and address any medication-related queries. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment. At times, assist our in-house pharmacy team in handling deliveries of bulk stock.

Skills

NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispensing A good understanding of UK pharmacy requirements and regulations. High level of attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to quickly identify errors. Excellence in communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work accurately and efficiently as part of an on-site team. Proficient IT skills. Believe in our mission to create radically better healthcare using technology Good standard of spoken and written English. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for record keeping and inventory management. Flexible to be based daily from our site in Wolverton, MK12 5NA
