We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional service and support to our patients.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of medication orders, including counting, measuring, and mixing pharmaceuticals. Provide information and advice to patients regarding their medications, including proper administration and potential side effects. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Collaborate with pharmacists to manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications.

Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy environment to promote safety and efficiency.Skills

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser Strong knowledge of medication administration processes and pharmaceutical terminology. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems for record keeping and inventory management. Be reliable and show a strong commitment to the role undertaken. Pay will depend on Experience in this Role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
