We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, supporting patient care, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. Duties

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders Provide guidance to patients on medication usage, storage, and potential side effects Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring safety and compliance Manage stock levels, including ordering and inventory control of pharmaceuticals Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety standards at all times Support patient care initiatives by providing excellent customer service and answering queries professionally

Qualifications

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient care and support Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous but not essential

Pay: From 12.80 per hour
