We are friendly, independent community pharmacy located in Peterborough, committed to delivering excellent patient care and supporting the local community. We provide a wide range of NHS and private pharmacy services and we are looking to expand our team with a dedicated, caring individual.
As a Pharmacy Dispenser you will:
Assist the pharmacist in the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions.
Label, package and prepare medicines for collection by patients.
Ensure medications and stock are accurately managed and maintained.
Work on the pharmacy counter when required, providing friendly and professional customer service.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with pharmacy legislation.
Build strong relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Essential:
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience working in a community pharmacy support role (preferred).
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team-player attitude.
Strong attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work to deadlines.
UK right to work (and if applicable, relevant registration).
Desirable:
Experience of using pharmacy systems / PMR software.
Some counter service / retail experience.
