Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient information Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety standards Provide compassionate assistance and information to patients regarding their prescriptions and medication usage Organise stock levels, check expiry dates, and ensure the pharmacy area remains clean and well-organised Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of medicines and equipment

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to prevent errors in dispensing medication Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members Ability to work accurately under pressure within a fast-paced environment A recognised qualification in pharmacy services or related field is preferred but not essential Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to legal standards in pharmacy practice

Pay: 14.00-14.50 per hour
