Job Description
We have a vacancy for a full dispenser or technician in Blackburn Pharmacy
Starting from 13.07 - 15 per hour dependant on role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a trained dispenser or technician/ ACT to join our team.
Full-time or Part-time roles available.
Your main duties will include:
Maintain an accurate, efficient and professional dispensing experience for all of our customers.
Serving patients on the front counter, selling medicines and taking in prescriptions.
Support our pharmacist in achieving excellence in our customer experience and meeting all legal requirements.
Dispensing repeat and acute medication.
Liaising with Pharmacist and other members of the Pharmacy team
Dealing with compliance aids
Give healthcare advice
Maintaining Pharmacy stock levels
Essential skills and requirement:
Minimum NVQ2 qualification
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Able to comply fully and understand the importance of customer confidentiality.
Good organisational skills, excellent time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines and multitask.
Able to build relationships with key partners (GP surgeries, care/nursing homes etc.)
A willingness to learn and apply new skills
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: 13.07-15.00 per hour
