, an independent pharmacy situated in Cilfynydd, Pontypridd, is currently in search of a dynamic and experienced dispenser to join our team.
The ideal candidate should possess a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or its equivalent. Opportunities for progression to Technician/ACT, with funded training as necessary, are available.
This role is suited for a skilled, efficient, and passionate individual experienced in the pharmacy industry. We are looking for someone available for shift work, responsible for accurate medication dispensing, and adept at tasks such as receiving, preparing, and dispensing medications. Proactivity, the ability to thrive under pressure, and strong communication skills are key attributes we value.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Efficient and accurate dispensing of various prescriptions, including private prescriptions.
- Requesting prescriptions from surgeries on behalf of our patients when necessary.
- Providing personalised and genuine service to customers at the counter and over the phone for their prescription needs.
- Communication with patients' doctors, nurses, and caregivers as required. - Preparation of dossett boxes in advance.
- Management of care home dispensing.
- Projecting confidence and maintaining an aura of comfort, ease, and poise.
Store Opening Hours:
Monday-Friday: 9 am - 5:30 pm
Saturday: 9 am - 1 pm

Working Hours: Daytime shifts: 18-24 hours per week (Saturday shift to be discussed) or 37.5 hours.
