Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy policies Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, packaging, and labelling Provide guidance to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions Support inventory management by checking stock levels and organising supplies Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management

Qualifications

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment A recognised qualification in pharmacy services or relevant healthcare training is preferred but not essential Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to professional standards
