Ideally an Experienced Dispenser required at our very busy pharmacy.

20-50 hours per week over 4 to 6 days

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in medication guidance on proper usage to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring confidentiality and data protection. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care. Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications appropriately. Conduct regular checks on medication stock for expiration dates and proper storage conditions. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns effectively. Participate in training programmes for new staff members as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser is essential. Strong knowledge of standard operating procedures and protocols. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and support. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to continuous professional development in the field of pharmacy practice. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is an advantage but not essential.
