We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. Duties

- Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Provide information and advice to patients regarding their medications, including proper usage and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of medications.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and patient interactions in accordance with legal requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of medication orders and perform quality checks on dispensed products.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in medication administration.

Qualifications/experience

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or in a similar role is preferred.
- A strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration practices.
- Relevant qualifications as a Pharmacy Technician would be advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
