Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications, side effects, and usage instructions. Assist in medication administration under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards. Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance knowledge of pharmacy practices.

Skills

Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills. Proficient in medication administration, with an understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and practices. Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is advantageous but not essential. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Pay: 12.21-12.51 per hour
