The Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Dispensary Assistant to support our pharmacists and technicians in the safe and accurate dispensing of NHS and private prescriptions

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation, labelling, and assembly of prescriptions Select and dispense medicines accurately under pharmacist supervision Manage EPS, repeat prescriptions, and prescription collections Support stock control, ordering, and expiry checks Provide excellent customer service to patients Promote NHS services such as NMS, Pharmacy First, BP checks, and vaccinations Maintain confidentiality and comply with pharmacy SOPs
What We're Looking For

Essential:

Good attention to detail Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced pharmacy environment Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude
Desirable (but not essential):

Previous community pharmacy experience NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or willingness to train) Experience with EPS and Rx web PMR system
