Job Description
We have a vacancy for a part-time Pharmacy Dispenser to join Bertha Park Pharmacy in Glasgow.
Please be aware, we can offer an opportunity for the right candidate to join our team, even without prior pharmacy experience. Our pharmacy, which opened in December 2023, is quieter than most, providing a unique chance to witness and be a part of its growth. This is a great opportunity to grow alongside the pharmacy as it expands.
There will be opportunity for further professional development.
13.07 per hour (or 12.21 per hour for someone with no prior experience who will be enrolled on a dispensing assistant course and upon completion will earn a dispensers wage)
Saturday 09:00 - 17:00
Your main duties will include:
Maintain an accurate, efficient and professional dispensing experience for all of our customers.
Support our pharmacist in achieving excellence in our customer experience and meeting all legal requirements.
Dispensing repeat and acute medication.
Liaising with Pharmacist
Give healthcare advice
Maintaining Pharmacy stock levels
Essential skills and requirement:
Minimum NVQ2 qualification
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Able to comply fully and understand the importance of customer confidentiality.
Good organisational skills, excellent time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines and multitask.
Able to build relationships with key partners (GP surgeries, care/nursing homes etc.)
A willingness to learn and apply new skills
Pay: 12 per hour
