Job Title: Pharmacy Dispenser

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for medication administration, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. 30HRS Per week, Tuesday-Saturday.

Responsibilities:

- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with inquiries and prescription pickups

- Maintain inventory levels and perform stock checks to ensure availability of medications

- Process prescriptions compliance with pharmacy regulations

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care outcomes

- Keep accurate records of medications dispensed and transactions processed

Qualifications:

- NVQ2 in dispensing or equivalent pharmacy experience

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus

- Proven experience in medication administration and patient care within a pharmacy setting

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, drug interactions, and dosage calculations

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
