Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders for patients Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient information Provide excellent customer service by answering queries related to prescriptions and medication usage Support medication inventory management, including stock checks and ordering supplies as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of medicines Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion

Experience

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is preferred Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical terminology Demonstrated commitment to patient care and customer service excellence Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is advantageous Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism
