We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified dispenser to join our small dispensing team.

- Qualified Dispenser NVQ 2 or recognised equivalent

- Applications must have a current UK professional registration

Job description

Main duties of the job:

Job responsibilities including but not limited to:

-

Dispensing prescriptions in accordance of SOP's

-

Receiving and processing patients repeat requests

-

Ordering pharmacy stock and putting stock to shelf

-

End of month
-Dealing with telephone enquiries both internal and external

-Booking appointments
-Handling cash / private prescription payments

-Adhere to SOP's
-Advise patients of any instructions from the GP's

-General housekeeping of the dispensary, date checking etc
-Prompt time keeping

-Knowledge of DRUMS (Dispensary Review of Use of Medicines) would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
